Fuller-figure fashion is regularly requested and it seems most enjoy fashion tips that offer practical ideas on how to get the most from your wardrobe.

Dressing well starts with the basics. Do you feel you have lots of clothes but still nothing to wear? You may just be lacking in staple items such as leggings, tank tops, T-shirts, cardies, shirts and a great pair of jeans.

These should be simple and neutral or block-coloured. Leave prints to a few statement items in your wardrobe you can mix with your more simple garments. For casual looks, mix up your basics. Adding a belt and some simple accessories will pull the look together. For work and evening wear, add your statement garments to the mix.

  1. A gorgeous maxidress is a perfect statement item for summer. An empire-line style is very flattering on luscious curves as it pulls you in under the bust, giving a nice V-neck that will flatter and create a sexy bust shape. The dress will then hang loose from under the bust, hiding tummies.

  2. Fuller-figure dressing is all about getting your lengths right. opt for tanks, T-shirts and tunics that come down over your widest part. Uneven hemlines are a flattering option.

  3. I love wearing a linen shirt open like a jacket in summer. A pop of colour is refreshing and this look will give a maxidress a daytime feel.

  4. A cotton-knit maxiskirt  is super-soft and comfortable, keeping you relaxed and cool during hot weather.

  5. A wide belt should be worn on the hip bone. Avoid wearing it too low over the widest part of your body as it will look unflattering.

  6. Making a little knot in a long tunic or maxiskirt will give your look an added twist.

  7. When wearing a tunic over your jeans, make sure it sits above the knee. Use a belt to adjust the length,

as you require.

  1. Nude-coloured heels are always more flattering to the legs than black heels. Every girl should have a pair this summer.

  2. A gorgeous statement print dress will add the X-factor to your wardrobe. If you’re not into showing your legs, I suggest wearing leggings.

  3. A low court shoe will give a dress a more demure look for the office.
