Presented at the British Fashion Awards each year, the Style Award goes to the “individual who most embodies the spirit of British fashion and is an international ambassador for London as a leading creative fashion capital”.
With her gorgeous wedding gown (designed by the late Oscar de la Renta) and her impeccable sense of personal style, Amal is definitely a worthy contender for the award!
However, she’s facing some stiff competition in the form of other chic British celebrities including Cara Delevingne, Emma Watson, Kate Moss, Keira Knightley and Helen Mirren.
The award is the only category at the ceremony that is open to public votes, and has previously gone to One Direction’s Harry Styles and ‘It Girl’ Alexa Chung.
People spoke to Amal’s personal hairstylist Max Coles to get the inside details on her sense of style – and those luscious locks!
According to Max, Amal is “very glamorous”, but in a “bohemian, casual, chic way”. When it comes to the hair, her everyday style is more “relaxed” and “less bouncy” than what she wore during her wedding weekend.
Amal is also a designer darling, but she has her British favourites – including Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney. If she does win this year’s British Style Award, we can’t wait to see what she’ll wear to accept it!
