I love wearing lippy and gloss but hate having to remember to reapply it. It’s a hassle and, really, who has the time to be constantly fiddling with their appearance?
What I want is to put on my lippy and for it to stay on for hours and hours. In the past, I’ve found long-lasting lipsticks and glosses a bit drying or gluggy. But the good news for busy women everywhere is that these products are now much improved.
Lip tips When drinking, lick your lips just before you take a sip. This will provide a moist surface between the lipstick and the glass and help to stop the colour from transferring.
The same lip-licking rule applies when it comes to lunch and dinner but you can also limit smudge and colour loss by cutting food into bite-sized pieces and avoiding soups and pastas.
ordinary lippy lasts longer if you fill in the entire lip area with lip pencil or a lip stain first. Then apply your lipstick, blot, dust with a little powder and apply lipstick again. You can use a little clear gloss as a top coat.
For a model-style finish, try applying lip gloss to the centre of your lips only.
