My beauty philosophy…
To embrace a person’s natural beauty by enhancing their best features and creating a flawless base. I think it’s vital that their individuality shines through.
The skincare products I can’t live without are…
Dermalogica! This starts with the Soothing EyeMake-up Remover, UltraCalming Cleanser, then a spritz of AntioxidantHydramist – I also use this during the day to feel refreshed and hydrated. I complete my regime with Age ReversalEye Complex and Skin Smoothing Cream.
My haircare secret is…
Once a week I treat my hair to Kevin.Murphy BorN.Again.Masque and leave that on for half an hour or so to really get in and nourish. I can’t live without Kevin.Murphy Shimmer.ShinE.
The products I always have in my make-up bag are…
LancÔme TeintMiracle Foundation, MAC Veluxe Brow Liner, Mac Haute & NaughtyLash Mascara, BobbiBrown Shimmer brick and Mac Lip Conditioner.
My favourite beauty treat is…
Definitely a massage when I can, preferably with hot stones.
My biggest beauty sin is…
Spending too much time in the sun. It’s my happy place – lying on a beach, reading a book and swimming in the ocean. I find nothing more relaxing, but my skin doesn’t thank me for it.
The best thing my mother taught me about beauty was…
I was lucky to have a mum who valued the importance of beauty regimes. From a very young age, my mum would have my hair styled in a salon and treat me to facials and massages. She had a make-up kit that was for my sister and I to play around with, so I believe she had a lot of influence on the career I chose.
