Metallic magic: Make your look shine

You don’t necessarily have to fork out on silver leggings to make the most of this ongoing trend. Just a few subtle glimmers are enough to bring an outfit alive, even if it’s just shiny buttons on a shirt, embellishments on jeans or jewels on sandals. Silver ballet flats can add glam to an otherwise casual outfit, as will a studded belt or handbag.

our eyes are naturally drawn to shiny things so make sure you’re drawing attention to your best assets. Warmer complexions are better suited to gold. Make more of a statement at night by pairing a black dress with a cropped silver or gold cardigan.

Make-up wise, metallic shades are best suited to night time and can really make the eyes pop! Apply a glittery eye shadow to the inner corners of the eye, use a pale silver as a base or dab on the centre of the eye lid, using a darker shade for contouring.

Warmer complexions are better suited to coppers and golds. oetallics are also popping up in shimmery creams to highlight the cheekbones, and light-reflecting glosses for the lips. once again, pick one metallic for the face and keep the rest of your make-up subtle.
