We asked beauty expert and New Zealand L’Oréal Paris makeup director Lisa Matson to tell us all about this new product.
Lisa, what makes Nude Magique so innovative?
Nude Magique Cushion is L’Oréal Paris’s first liquid foundation in a compact for the New Zealand mass market. The best thing about it is you can achieve a natural glow and buildable coverage, plus it can be applied at home or on the go. The special, patented sponge also ensures the perfect amount of foundation is released so it’s economical too!
What is the best way to apply it?
For best results apply with the super-soft, non-absorbing antimicrobial applicator puff (that inhibits the growth of microorganisms), using a gliding motion. Finish with a tapping motion around your face for that natural healthy look.
What sort of coverage can you achieve?
From sheer to medium coverage. If you prefer a sheer coverage for the day time, you can always apply more in the evening to give a medium, fuller coverage. It’s so easy too – the more you tap it around your face, the more coverage you get.
And what is the finish like?
As you would have seen on the catwalks fresh skin is definitely the finish du jour when it comes to foundation. L’Oréal Paris’s Nude Magique cushion offers this fresh and dewy finish, which is thanks to the ultra-luminous pigments and pure water essence in the formula.
What does it feel like on your skin?
Your skin will feel smooth, soft and hydrated all day.
What other benefits does the formula offer?
It has UV protection with SPF 29, which will help to protect you from the sun’s rays. This means you won’t have to waste time in the morning applying a sunscreen as well as your foundation.
What shades are available?
A. There are six shades. Those who would describe their complexion as fair should go for the lightest shade of Porcelain. And if you’ve got more of an olive complexion opt for the darkest shade of Golden Amber.
