I would like some tips on how to apply blusher without looking like a clown.

L’Oréal Paris Make-up Director Lisa Matson has these great tips for you:
“Invest in a good sized, round-shaped blusher brush – natural hair are the best. Swirl the brush lightly over your blush and lightly daub onto the back of your hand, or sweep it across the inner compact lid a couple of times to remove any excess product. Next, rotate brush from the apples of the cheek and along the cheekbones up towards the temples, softening and fading the colour as you go. Just skim the skin with your brush, as too much pressure can result in a heavy and/or streaky finish. Keep your touch feather light and rotate up and down, until you have built the colour intensity you desire.”
Lisa recommends L’Oréal Paris True Match Blush $27.99.
