The most devastating Home and Away breakups

Bianca and Liam: Bianca (Lisa Gormley) and Liam (Axel Whitehead) had a tumultuous relationship. Firstly there was the love triangle with Bianca’s ex Vittorio (Richard Brancatisano). Liam’s drug addiction took a toll on their relationship. Bianca also suffered through a vicious sexual assault. In the end, Bianca decided to break up with Liam.

Indi and Romeo: Indi (Samara Weaving) and Romeo (Luke Mitchell) were married twice and broke up three times! They eventually worked things out, but then Romeo was diagnosed with melanoma. Instead of telling Indi, he leaves her in the middle of the night. Months later it was revealed that he passed away.

Kim and Rachel: Kim (Chris Hemsworth) and Rachel’s (Amy Mathews) marriage was rather difficult considering the fact that Kim had a child with Kit (Amy Mizzi). While Kim and Rachel tried everything they possibly could to make their marriage work, in the end, Kim chose to be with Kit and his son Archie.

Dani and Scott: Scott (Kip Gamblin) and Dani (Tammin Sursok) suffered through a number of soap dramas during their relationship including Dani’s stint in prison, stalkers and more! They stayed together until Dani left Summer Bay in 2004.

Casey and Tamara: Tamara (Kelly Paterniti) suffered amnesia after being kidnapped and forgot all about her boyfriend Casey (Lincoln Younes).

Ricky and Nate: Ricky (Bonnie Sveen) and Nate (Kyle Pryor) made it down the aisle, but their relationship was never destined to last. Nate secretly called Brax (Stephen Peacocke) and encourages him to return and fight for Ricky. He does, and the two leave Summer Bay together with their baby Casey.

Olivia and Mason: While this was far from an epic romance, it was sad to see Mason (Orpheus Pledger) be rejected by Olivia (Raechelle Banno) as she still had feelings for her ex Hunter (Scott Lee).

Justin and Phoebe: Phoebe (Isabella Giovinazzo) and Justin (James Stewart) seemed like the perfect match. But when Phoebe is offered the job of a lifetime singing in the States, Justin decided he can’t move with her and leave his daughter Ava behind.

Leah and Zac: Leah (Ada Nicodemou) and Zac’s (Charlie Clausen) marriage collapse was tough to watch. While they had been having problems for a while, Zac cheating on Leah with Sam (Cheree Cassidy) was the catalyst of their relationship breakdown.

Nate and Tori: Nate (Kyle Pryor) and Tori’s (Penny McNamee) relationship was on the rocks for a while. They eventually went their separate ways, with Nate deciding to leave Summer Bay to follow his dream job.
