It’s been a busy year since Gisborne’s Amy Moore and Stu Watts won The Block in 2018. While Stu has continued to work as a plumber and gasfitter, Amy has started working in interior design.
More recently, she has also launched a second business, taking groups of women on luxury shopping holidays around the world. So when they were asked – in an unprecedented move in The Block‘s history – to return to compete in a task, they had mixed emotions.
Amy and Stu returned to the show in style, winning $7000.
“I was excited, nervous and apprehensive as to how we would be received,” Amy reveals. “Stu was more excited than I was, as his resilience is far more superior in that environment to mine.”
Despite Amy’s concerns, their creativity won out and they took home a cool $7000!
When asked who she thinks will take out this year’s series, Amy shares, “To be honest, I think they all have a shot … but taking into account apartment size, I think Stacy and Adam have a good shot.”
Only time will tell!
