The dust is yet to settle after a bombshell season of The Bachelor NZ but TV3 are already gearing up to launch right into their next reality TV hit – The Block NZ.
After four successful seasons of the DIY series, this year things are getting a shake up with an exciting new twist – instead of mixed teams, it’s girls vs boys!
When the show kicks off on May 29, two girls teams will be taking on two boys teams in an epic battle of brawn vs beauty. And host Mark Richardson says it could just be the best season yet!
“Facing a challenge like The Block NZ with your best mate by your side could have its advantages, and disadvantages. Divorce might not be on the cards at the end, but the teams will see the best and the worst of each other under pressure. If not everyone is pulling their weight it could create some real conflict. Will they have the same commitment to each other and the competition of siblings or a couple? I’m looking forward to seeing it play out on air.”
