While the pressure of a stint on The Block NZ could put a strain on even the strongest union, Stacy Heyman and Adam Middleton are determined to focus on the positives.

“No relationship is perfect, and we’re always looking to improve because we love each other and want long-term solutions, not bandages,” tells social media star Stacy.

“We work together like a well-oiled machine and The Block will be a good challenge for us. We know inevitably we will be at our worst at times, but we’re looking forward to the challenges and highs.”

The millennial couple, both 25, who have been together for almost five years, live in Wellington, where they’ve dabbled in DIY with small renovations to their own home.

But the biggest challenge of coming on the Three show won’t be learning the tools of the trade, but leaving behind their dog, beloved Samoyed Boki. Hopefully if they take out the big win, it will all

be worth it.

When asked what they would do with their winnings, Weta Workshop designer Adam says, “We’d love to adopt another Samoyed who needs a loving home to receive all the care and attention they need!”
