Simon Cowell is still absent from The X Factor 2017, after suffering a dizzy spell at home on Friday morning and falling down some stairs.
Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon was called in to stand for Cowell on Sunday’s live show. Cowell has so far missed the first two live shows of The X Factor 2017.
The injured head judge had woken on Friday morning feeling unwell and gone downstairs to fetch some warm milk, according to a source of The Sun.
“He fainted when he was climbing back up the stairs to the first floor. His security team heard a loud thump and knew he’d gone down.
“They immediately called emergency services and an ambulance rushed to the house.”
Cowell told photographers outside his home on Saturday that he was “feeling okay”.
He said, “I fainted and fell down the stairs. I’ve got a bit of concussion. I feel better now.”
“I will be back but I don’t know about tomorrow. But I’m feeling okay.”
Cowell was given brain, neck and spine scans in hospital following the fall in his West London home.
The Sun source said, “It was a truly terrifying accident and could have been a lot worse.”
