Rob, who has stayed away from the public eye for months now, took to Instagram earlier today to make a shocking statement.
Posting an image of a blood-soaked Rosamund Pike in character as the ruthless Amy Dunne from Gone Girl, he wrote, “This is my sister kim, the b***h from Gone Girl”.
There have been rumours of tension between the two ever since Rob mysteriously bailed on Kim’s star-studded wedding to hubby Kanye West. Since then, he has refused to appear on the family’s reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians and has rarely been seen out in public.
Publicly, Rob’s family continues to support him, with Khloe and Kim both wishing him well on his birthday last week. Khloe also posted a photo on March 17 with herself, Kourtney, Rob, North and Penelope.
The odd story doesn’t end there, however – last year he also raised eyebrows after posting a series of tweets about fathering a son. His extreme weight gain hasn’t gone unnoticed either, sparking fears for the former reality star’s health.
“I just feel, especially over the last year, Rob has become very introverted and has a kind of social anxiety,” Khloe told WonderWall.com.
“He’s definitely not at his happiest place that he once was, and I know he can get to that happy place and he will.”
