The Bachelor NZ’s Nina Weil was the latest Bachelorette to be sent home by Zac Franich, in last night’s drama-filled episode of the Three reality show.

Despite pouring out her heart to Zac as she said her final goodbye – tearfully telling him he didn’t “really give [her] a chance” – the Harry Potter-obsessed 23-year-old today revealed there were no hard feelings as she wished him luck on his journey to find love.

“I’m not one to hide my emotions,” she confessed. “I was trying to keep it together, but there comes a point when you just have to be real and genuine and let people see what you’re feeling.”

That openness and vulnerability wasn’t a hit with everyone in the house, however, as some of the other Bachelorettes were shown poking fun at Nina in an earlier episode of the show.

Nina’s time on the show came to an end last night, with Zac choosing to give Bel the final rose.

When our A-List Insider (and Bachelor host) Dominic Bowden sat down with Nina today, however, she had a clear message for some of her fellow contestants.

“Think before you speak. Have a bit of empathy as well,” she said. “You had those thoughts and you said them … but you know what, what’s done is done.

“It’s in the past,” she added.

As for her future romantic prospects, Nina refused to be drawn on any details – but she did reveal she had been back on the dating scene since leaving the show and there was someone special in the picture.

“I don’t want to give anything away or freak anyone out,” she said – but she did reveal the mystery man “respects [her] obsession” with all things Harry Potter.

Could a love match be on the cards? Only time will tell!
