Natalia and husband Willy Moon have touched down in LA and for the first time, they’ve spoken publicly about the ‘bullying’ controversy that saw them fired from the X Factor NZ.
The former judges were axed from the show this week after Natalia labelled contestant Joe Irvine a “laughingstock” and Willy compared him to a fictional serial killer.
Speaking to MTV reporters at the airport in Los Angeles, Natalia said there was no truth to the “manufactured conspiracy theory” that had sprung up around her comments.
“I love my husband with all of my heart, we’ll stick together no matter what. There are many sides to this story and I am not about to get an entire industry in trouble that has been going on for years and years entertaining the masses, so thank you absolutely everyone for your support, thank you to all of my fans, thank you to my husband,” she went on.
In other news, it has been revealed Natalia and her record label Cherrytree Records “parted ways months ago” before the X Factor ever aired.
Replacements for Natalia and Willy on X Factor are expected to be announced soon.
