They may have lost out to Chris and Bex in Monday night’s My Kitchen Rules NZ grand final, but it hasn’t dampened their sense of humour.
Heather and Mitch joined us in the Now to Love studio for an exit interview and a round of quick fire questions. The banter between the pair flowed nonstop and they have clearly enjoyed their time on the show.
They were disappointed to lose out to Chris and Bex in the finale but were positive about the future and they say they’ll even go down to Wanaka to visit the pair.
When asked what advice they’d give to anyone wanting to go on the show, Heather’s message was clear. “Stay true to yourself. I copped a bit of flack for being myself but I wouldn’t change anything I’ve done.”
Heather and Mitch were hot favourites to win the title.
And as for the future – they don’t want to get into restaurants or café’s and are instead hoping to host their own cooking focused travel show.
