Why did you apply for Drag Race?
To represent my lovely country Guatemala. I’m the first Guatemalan queen ever to be part of Drag Race, which is very special.
How did you get into drag?
My cousin back in Guatemala put me in drag for the first time for a fashion show. I knew the drag world was for me when I saw myself in all the photos while I was walking down the runway.
Who’s your inspiration?
Strong Latin women with big hearts, red lips and who love to party!

What’s your special talent?
I have a degree in opera and have been in Broadway shows. I’m a singer, actor and dancer, with fashion sense to die for.
How did you get into drag?
I realised I wanted to take it up in lockdown. I was afraid I’d lose friends by showing a feminine side, but people adore me whether I’m in drag or not!
Who’s your inspiration?
The late singer Aaliyah, the strong women in my life and, of course, Naomi Campbell. I’ve always been obsessed with pop culture and fame – hence the name!

How did you get into drag?
After seeing all the local talent Hamilton and Auckland have to offer, my curiosity grew and one day I just did it. Spoiler alert: I’ve only been doing it for about a year, so it’s a huge achievement for me to represent New Zealand in this Olympics of drag.
Who’s your inspiration?
Beyoncé is a strong, independent, curvy woman!
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
I’m sure everyone can agree with me on Henry Cavill. I mean, he’s Superman!

What’s your special talent?
I’m the fiercest seamstress in the competition. No one can hold a candle to me. And they better not – I’m wearing synthetic fibres! I don’t need to be more flaming.
Who’s your inspiration?
Lady Gaga is my idol. She is a talented artist who has done it her way, stayed true to herself and leads with love.
What would you be doing if you weren’t a drag queen?
Probably a designer or pattern maker.

Who’s your inspiration?
I love the iconic way Lady Gaga made herself a huge success from nothing.
Who is your ultimate celeb crush?
Does being on Drag Race mean I’m a celebrity now? If you can’t crush on yourself, how the hell are you gonna crush on somebody else?!
What would you be doing if you weren’t a drag queen?
I’ve worked as a dog groomer, in supermarkets and in fast food, but nothing sparks joy like drag does.

What’s your special talent?
I have a seventh sense – I see dumb people. I’m not sure if it’ll work for me in this competition, but it’s helped me in my career so far!

The strong women in my whānau past and present, plus Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Nicki Minaj, J.Lo and Beyoncé!

What’s your special talent?
I style my own wigs and design my own looks. I can also like bend my tongue into a clover shape, which I’m sure will come in handy!

I want to represent the queer Asian community, who we don’t see a lot of.

How did you get into drag?
I was 19 when I put on my first wig. I’d been missing live performance and then I met my husband [Anita Wigl’it], who introduced me to the world of drag. I haven’t looked back!

Anyone with a pulse, but if Chris Evans brings his Captain America shield…
What would you be doing if you weren’t a drag queen?
I work in finance, but I like to inspire, so maybe a motivational speaker.

What’s your special talent?
Drag queens can famously be catty little creatures, so my strategy is to win over everybody’s hearts and minds with my incredible good looks and irresistible charm.

How did you get into drag?
It first started when I went to a school fundraising event as Big Momma from the fabled film Big Momma’s House. It tickled something within me and a few years later, it clicked.

Probably begging for a dollar outside the local servo.
