They melted hearts as viewers watched them gradually fall for one another on Married At First Sight. But just seven weeks after the show’s finale, favourites Christie and Mark have ended their relationship.
“I was 100 per cent falling in love with him,” says Christie.
But the distance was too much – with Christie based in Sydney and Mark on a property in rural Victoria.
“We were starting to fall in love but our heads got in front of our hearts,” reveals Christie, 40, who says it was a tough decision to end their seven-month relationship.

The pair were determined to give it their best shot.
Just last month the vivacious DJ-turned-business owner admitted to Woman’s Day Australia that the long-distance was proving a challenge.
“It’s hard, it’s difficult. My business is lacking a little bit so I’ve told him he needs to get his butt up here now,” Christie confessed at the time.
Now the only couple that remain from season two of the controversial dating show are Erin and Bryce.

In the end, the distance proved too hard to work around.
