Their relationship has been a roller-coaster ride.
But Married at First Sight bride Tracey Jewel tells OK! magazine that if her romance with Dean Wells is going to survive in the real world once the show ends, it will have to follow a strict timeline – and she’ll be the one calling the shots!
If they’re going to have a successful relationship, Dean better get used to being told what to do.
“I want a family,” says Tracey, who’s already mum to eight-year-old daughter Grace.
“I want another baby and because I’m 34 and Dean’s 39, we don’t have time to waste,” she adds.
“My rules for a real-world relationship with Dean are that we both have to be 100 per cent committed, we both have to be 100 per cent monogamous and it would have to lead to a real marriage and a baby – sooner rather than later; within a year,” she says.
“They’re non-negotiable outcomes for me.”
Tracey says she understands exactly what she’s getting into with Dean.
“You do make allowances in the experiment that you’d never put up with in the real world,” she says.
“Dean knows I won’t put up with any cheating once the experiment’s done. If I’m going to move interstate for him, we’ve got to be all in. I’ve had my fun; I’m ready to settle down.”
But if Dean stuffs up again – not that she’s expecting him to – Tracey’s not completely ruling out trying her luck as a future star of The Bachelorette one day!
“Well, never say never, but I think I’ve had my fill of reality TV… for now,” she laughs.
“I think I’ve had the hardest journey during the experiment. I’ve lost a lot of weight and I’ve had so much stress, so why would I go through it all again? But you never know what might happen!”
With the season finale set to the the most shocking one yet, we can’t wait to see if these two last the distance.
