Michael Cavallari, the brother of The Hills star Kristin Cavallari, has tragically been found dead just three days after he was officially reported as missing.
According to a press release from the Grand County Sheriff’s Office, search crews located what they believed to be Michael’s body at approximately 10.30am (US time).
Authorities had been conducting an extensive search for Michael after his car, a 2014 Honda Civic, was found abandoned near an exit on the I-70 highway in Utah on November 27.

Kristin released an official statement after the tragic news broke, thanking everyone who had offered their support during the harrowing past few weeks.
“We want to thank everyone for their love, support and prayers during this very difficult time,” Kristin said.
“We have just been informed by the authorities my brother’s body has been found. This is a very painful time and we are still processing it all. We kindly ask everyone please respect our privacy during our time of grieving.”
There were reports Michael had been arrested several days before his arrest, and sources claim he had a difficult past.
However, Kristin, who recently welcomed her third child, had a close relationship with her brother. After the tragic news of his discovery broke, she posted a heartbreaking tribute to Michael on Instagram.
