Kendall’s modelling career has been going from strength to strength, and with countless photoshoots and runway work under her belt it seems there’s no stopping her now!
In her latest shoot for Harper’s Bazaar, 19-year-old Kendall opened up about her work and what it’s like having Chanel head honcho Karl Lagerfeld as a friend.
Surprisingly, Kendall revealed she was super shy when she first met Karl. She even compared it to meeting a crush for the first time!
“I was mute. He probably thought I was the biggest weirdo. And then every time we’d see each other, it would just get better and better,” she said.
“Now we’re totally BFFs.”
Aside from Karl himself, Kendall’s got quite the collection of famous friends, including fellow models Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid. When it comes to her own personal style, however, she’s got a bit of a surprising style icon: big sister Kim!
Kendall named Kim’s closet as the one she most wanted to raid, and confessed to thinking her own outfits ‘sucked’ compared to her sister’s. While we find that hard to believe, at least Kendall has plenty of time to perfect her own style! The star says she plans to be in the modelling world for a long time.
“I didn’t come into this thinking it’s going to be a fun thing that I’m doing to do on the side. It’s something I want to do my whole life,” she said of her modelling career.
