Kanye West wants his wife, Kim Kardashian, to end her rift with Beyoncé following reports that the women have been feuding since Bey snubbed Kim and Kanye’s wedding.
Speculation of a split between the A-list couples has been growing since Beyoncé and Jay Z failed to show up for Kim and Kanye’s nuptials in Italy in May.
“As far as Kim’s concerned, the damage is done,” a source has told British magazine Heat.
“She thinks Bey only wants to be friends because she wants something from her now.”
But Kanye wants his unrequited bromance with Jay Z to be able to come out of the shadows and is looking to help the women make up.
“Kanye would love for things to be better and is trying to get Kim to soften,” the source said.
“Kanye’s spoken to Jay privately and told him the approach may have to be public in some way – that’s the way Kim is and not coming to the wedding was a huge snub.”
It was rumoured that Jay Z was going to be Kanye’s best man at his wedding, but in the end Jay and Beyoncé didn’t attend.
They sent a lavish gift to the newlyweds, but it was widely speculated that Beyoncé insisted they didn’t go because she didn’t want to appear on Kim’s show Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Now it is being alleged that Beyoncé thought it would bring down her and her husband’s status of hip-hop royalty.
Adding to sources, it was also claimed that Beyoncé asked not to be seated close to Kim at the MTV VMAs.
“Kim’s ignoring her calls so far. Bey’s going to have to eat some serious humble pie to make up for all the public snubs she’s made over the years and for missing her wedding,” a source said.
“She’s certainly not going to forgive her just because Kim’s a bit more famous now and Beyoncé’s popularity has taken a hit.”
