For weeks Kiwi women have been speculating about who will be the lucky man to dethrone Arthur Green on the all-new season of The Bachelor NZ.
Well, ladies, Woman’s Day is happy to report the agonising wait is finally over.
In this week’s magazine, we reveal Jordan Mauger as the ruggedly handsome, hot new star of the TV3 show, which premieres on March 7.
Every inch an eligible bachelor, the 32-year-old Christchurch-born assistant film director is a funny, charming family man, a well-travelled adventurer and hunky, hopeless romantic. But most importantly, Jordan is ready to find that special someone.
“I’ve done a lot of travelling, I’ve met a lot of people and I’ve found a job I absolutely love – one that never feels like work. But one day, I woke up and thought to myself, ‘I’ve done all these amazing things and made all these memories, but I don’t have anyone to share them with,’” says Jordan.
“If you told me a year ago that I’d be on this show, I would’ve laughed in your face, but when you think about it, there are 20-plus women all there committed to finding love and then there’s me committed to finding love. I’m looking for that real connection and when it happens you can’t help it.”
