Andy and Nate have won this season of The Block NZ, after initially failing to meet their reserve at Sunday night’s live auction.

The brothers-in-law from Hamilton had a turnaround in fortunes when the house was again auctioned after Stace and Yanita were in the lead.

Friends Stace and Yanita had sold their house for $1,271,000 and with a profit of $30,000 it looked like they would take home the $100,000 prize money.

However, a second round of bidding for Andy and Nate’s house received a final bid of $1,250,000, giving them a $31,000 profit and thus the overall prize for the biggest profit.
