Proving that she has a brilliant sense of humour, Sarah Ferguson has been captured in a new video shared to Twitter where she addresses the speculation surrounding whether her youngest daughter Princess Eugenie is pregnant and jokes about her love of tequila.
The video, taken at American businessman Ernie Boch Jr’s house at the weekend, shows the Duchess of York making a toast to the host’s philanthropic work before getting candid about her daughter Princess Eugenie overcoming scoliosis and Eugenie’s marriage to Jack Brooksbank last year in October, which is met with a cheer from the crowd.
“Jack sells tequila for Casamigos which we love,” she says, which is a company co-founded by actor George Clooney and Cindy Crawford’s husband Rande Gerber.
“It makes me even more of a yummy mummy because I just drink the tequila when I go and sell it,” she jokes.
Then, directly addressing the rumours about Eugenie, 29, Fergie says: “What else can I tell you? No, she’s not pregnant!”
“I’m just going through what the journalists say and they’re all here, so I just thought I’d fill it in,” she explains matter-of-factly.
Rumours that Eugenie might be pregnant began circulating following her appearance at the Royal Ascot this year where she was spotted by eagle-eyed fans looking like she was holding a hand over her stomach as she chatted to her cousins Duchess Catherine and Zara Tindall.
While Fergie didn’t address the rumours that her eldest daughter, Princess Beatrice, 30, may be getting engaged to her beau Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi soon, she did confirm that indeed her and her ex-husband Prince Andrew do still live together.
“Yes I do live in Royal Lodge with my handsome prince, who is the best looking prince of the whole darn lot, so there you go,” she laughs.

Despite the Duke and Duchess of York finalising their divorce in 1996, the couple have continued to remain close friends, so much so that speculation that the pair have rekindled their romance has made many rounds in the press over the years.
Sarah has called the two of them the “happiest divorced couple in the world” with the pair often taking family holidays together with her their two daughters and more recently she has been making more appearances to events alongside Andrew.
Speaking to The Mirror back in 1999 Sarah said: “I know everyone wants the fairytale of Andrew and I getting back together. But just as I can’t make plans for the millennium I can’t make plans about what’s going to happen with us.
“We are the happiest divorced couple in the world, definitely. Some people are happily married. Well, we’re very happily divorced.
“It might sound strange but we believe very firmly in what we’ve got.”
In fact, just last week their daughter Princess Eugenie posted a photo to her Instagram account to celebrate their wedding anniversary – albeit a day late!
“Who else has ever forgotten to congratulate their parents on their wedding anniversary,” Eugenie wrote.
“I’m a day late but I wanted to celebrate my parents getting married 33 years ago… Thank you for always being the best of friends and bringing us up together.”
And, in footage from the day 33 years ago, footage of the Queen chasing after a young Prince William has resurfaced.
The rare sight of the Queen running as she saves William from a nasty accident has been doing the rounds on Twitter as he chases closely behind the Duke and Duchess of York’s carriage.
