The Royal Ascot always brings out the most fashionable fascinators and eye-catching ensembles, and this year was no different as members of the royal family donned their best for the occasion.

On day one of the races, the Queen wowed in an elegant sunshine-yellow dress and matching hat, which – appropriately enough – seemed to coincide with a temporary let up of the torrential rain that had plagued the Ascot this year.

Meanwhile, day two of the races saw Prince William and Duchess Catherine attending together for the very first time, with Kate looking stunning in a long-sleeved white dress from Dolce & Gabbana.
