Ever since February, when she became a mum for the first time, Princess Eugenie has been “walking on air”, according to friends.
“She is absolutely loving all of it, from the midnight feeds to the 4am nappy changes,” says a source.
“She doesn’t have household help like almost all the rest of the royals. Being a mum to her little boy has given her renewed purpose.”

The friend says Eugenie, 31, is “obsessed” with August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, and “has barely spent a second apart from him since he was born”.
“But she’s already ruing that her happy, active little one is growing too fast – he’s already crawling! – and she’s keen to hold on to those baby years as long as possible.”
Now one of Eugenie’s closest friends has told Woman’s Day that, mere months after she gave birth, Eugenie has already been talking openly about how she “can’t wait to go again”.
And husband Jack Brooksbank, 35, is said to be just as keen as his wife on having baby number two.
“Eugenie would love to give August a sibling close in age, especially given she had such a fantastic childhood with her close bond with Princess Beatrice, who is only a year and a half older than her,” says our insider.
“As soon as Eugenie felt physically up to it, her and Jack began trying again.”In fact, some friends believe the royal may already been pregnant, after two recent outings sparked tongues wagging.
An onlooker at a wedding she attended in Greece last month says, “She looked a little bumpy even if she was trying to hide it, and she didn’t touch a drop of the hard stuff all night. It was the talk of the wedding”.
Last month she took her mum Sarah Ferguson to dinner on her 62nd birthday at swanky London restaurant China Tang, where onlookers tell Woman’s Day it seemed she had some exciting news for the Duchess of York.
“At one point, Sarah squealed with excitement and Eugenie shushed her,” says a source.
“It seemed like they were celebrating more than Sarah’s birthday, even though Eugenie passed on the bubbles.”
Our source adds, “If Eugenie is pregnant again already, it’s amazing news for her. She’s a wonderful mum and she’s building the perfect little family.”
