The royal proves he can still raise the roof as he was secretly filmed busting a few classic 90s dance moves
Prince William

Monday marked the annual Commonwealth Day service of thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey — which, as Britain’s largest multi-faith gathering, happens to be one of the more important official royal events of the year.

But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who last year attended the service to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday, were notably absent from the day’s events.

It’s believed Duchess Kate stayed at home with the couple’s two young children, while dad Prince William travelled to Verbier, Switzerland for a boys’ weekend with his mates, including nightclub boss Guy Pelly.

And now, thanks to some enterprising citizens we have actual footage of Prince William droppin’ it l-o-w.

In a video obtained by TMZ, the newly crowned Party Prince can be seen in the midst of a lone wolf (!!) dance sesh as he raises the roof beneath the venue’s violet-hued lights.

The best bit? The future King of England was caught in the act at the very late time of… 10:30pm.

Earlier in the day, Wills and his close friends were snapped looking relaxed and happy as they chatted to other guests and staff staying at the upmarket ski resort, including 24-year-old Australian model Sophie Taylor.

The pretty blonde works at the Farinet nightclub, which is where 34-year-old royal and his group were reported to have enjoyed some down time.

The Daily Mail chatted to Sophie’s boyfriend Aaron Goodfellow, who met the future king and described him as a “great guy” and “very down to earth.”

Kensington Palace commented on William and Duchess Kate not attending the Commonwealth Day service, saying, “The duke and duchess have attended the event for the last two years and look forward to doing so often in the future.”

Before briefly touching on the dad-of-two’s trip to Switzerland, remarking, “His schedule was private and we would not comment on it.”

Skipping the Commonwealth celebrations, Wills took to the slopes.

Our favourite little snow bunnies stayed at home with mum, Kate.

It’s a busy time of year for the much-loved royal who will soon travel to Paris with his 35-year-old wife for a two-day tour on the 17th and 18th of March.

The trip to France will mark the first official royal visit by the couple since the untimely death of William’s mother, Princess Diana.

Wills was just 15 and his brother Prince Harry only 12, when Princess Diana was tragically killed in a car crash in Paris on 31 August 1997. She was 36 years old.

While the tour will be the Duke and Duchess’s first official visit to Paris, William has previously travelled to Paris on a handful of unofficial trips.

Though, any trip to the French capital is undoubtedly an emotional experience for the second in line to the throne.
