Is Meghan Markle, the woman at the centre of the latest rumours surrounding Prince Harry’s love life, sending a message with her recent Instagram post?
As news of the couple broke this week, the Suits star and World Vision ambassador shared a sweet photo of two ‘spooning’ bananas with cartoon expressions drawn on them.
“Sleep tight xx” she captioned the post.
A friend of the couple’s told People that the relationship is “pretty serious”.
“They have a lot in common and I’m sure they will get on very well,” another source said of the pair, who are said to have been dating for two months.
According to The Sun, Prince Harry met the brunette beauty at a charity event and wooed her via text.
Meghan is said to have met Prince Harry at a charity event in May.
Prince Harry is reportedly “head over heels” for the gorgeous Suits star.
“They are the real deal. He definitely pursued her and besieged her with texts until she agreed to a date,” the pal told the publication.
“He is very full-on but she was going through quite a tough time with her previous boyfriend and she was very flattered.”
Meghan was previously dating Canadian chef Cory Vitiello, but reportedly broke up with him in May – thought to be the same month she first crossed paths with Harry.
A source told The Sun that Meghan and Cory were still living together, but “their relationship was on the rocks” when the Prince began texting the actress.
However, the alleged new romance may have hit its first stumbling block. Yesterday, The Evening Standard reported that the 32-year-old royal had to cancel a planned trip to visit Meghan in Toronto, Canada in light of the new spotlight on their relationship.
The publication claims Harry had booked a seat on a British Airways flight due to leave Heathrow airport on Sunday morning, but he was a “no-show”.
“It appears he pulled out at the last minute and decided not to travel,” an insider told The Evening Standard.
Meghan and Harry’s relationship is said to be “pretty serious”.
