Prince Harry and Meghan Markle spotted Christmas tree shopping

The loved up couple are preparing for their first Christmas together
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Last night, the 32-year-old royal was spotted with his lover, Meghan, during their visit to prestigious Christmas tree firm, Pines and Needles, in Battersea Park last night.

Spending some rare time with each other, the pair perused a few options before deciding on a modest 6ft-tall, non-drop, Nordmann Fir.

According to Sam Lyle, owner of Pines and Needles, Harry picked up the bill paying just £56.95.

He added: “We have looked after some of Britain’s highest profile names for nearly 20 years but you could have heard a pin drop – or a needle – when Prince Harry and Meghan walked into the store.”

“They were completely charming together and blissfully unaware that our jaws had hit the floor.”

The beautiful star of television series Suits has flown to London to be with Harry before Christmas.

Fellow shopper Gary Spence said: “It was a bit weird seeing Prince Harry browsing the Christmas trees.”

“I thought he’d go for the biggest one around, but he just wanted a little six footer.”

A spokesperson for the shop told HELLO! Online, “they were there for about 15 minutes browsing and then having a look, then they selected their tree and Harry carried it on his shoulder once it was netted up, back to the car.”

Despite having only been with Meghan since July, the romantic gestures don’t stop there!

Insiders told Woman’s Day Australia that the 32-year-old has pledged to buy the Suits star a mansion in her home town of Los Angeles, where her family and friends still reside.

It’s now believed the prince is just days away from putting a deposit on Reese Witherspoon’s former home in Pacific Palisades, which she put on the market for $27 million.

The five-bedroom home is in the same neighbourhood as Jennifer Garner, Tom Hanks, Matt Damon and Steven Spielberg.

“It’s not as big as the palaces Harry has known all his life, but he’s excited to have somewhere he and Meghan can call home when they visit the US,” our source reveals in this week’s issue of Woman’s Day.

It seems the royal romeo is certainly living up to his reputation as a real life Prince Charming!
