Gorgeous little Prince George looked absolutely thrilled to be accompanying his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, for a day out at the Royal International Air Tattoo in Gloucestershire.
The tiny tot, who is soon to mark his third birthday, reportedly threw a little tantrum after arriving at the event, which is the biggest military show of its kind. Luckily, doting mum Kate was there to calm her eldest child down, and the young royal soon became distracted by the extensive display of aircraft at the event.
Wearing navy blue shorts and a crisp white T-shirt for the occasion, the young Prince walked hand-in-hand with his parents and donned matching blue earmuffs to protect his ears from some of the louder parts of the show.
Meanwhile, the Duchess herself showed off her usual chic sense of style in a royal blue Stella McCartney pencil dress, paired with a navy blazer.
During the show, lucky Prince George got the chance to sit in the pilot’s seat in one of the distinctive Red Arrow planes, while his parents got a closer look at the inner workings of the aircraft.
According to Flight Lieutenant Jim Hobkirk, who spoke to the Daily Mail during the occasion, George was “very interested in the tail rotor”. Could a passion for flying be in his future?
We’ll just have to wait and see!
