Prince Harry had quite the reputation of being a party boy during his twenties and while he may have now gracefully embraced his royal duties as a working royal, don’t think that means he’s completely kissed his night-long partying goodbye.

According to The Sun, French Ambassador Jean-Pierre Jouyet revealed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex used to host “soirees that would go all night,” when they used to live at Nottingham Cottage at Kensington.

And it would appear that Jouyet, who lives opposite the new parents’ old abode, is quite upset that the party animals have moved out to Windsor, with The Sun reporting he said things were quite boring without the pair around.

“It is so quiet here now that Harry and Meghan have left,” Jouyet revealed.

“They used to have fireworks, soirees that would go all night, friends and family coming and going.

“Now all we see and hear is the helicopters landing. It’s boring now.”

Of course now that their son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, has arrived, up all night has likely taken on a whole different meaning.

The couple, who recently celebrated their one year wedding anniversary, moved out of central London into Frogmore Cottage at Windsor Castle in early April.

The Grade II building underwent lengthy and pricey renovations, which saw cottage transformed from five separate apartments to one 10-bedroom home.

Due to its close proximity to Heathrow Airport, the couple reportedly spent thousands of pounds on sound-proofing their home, a yoga studio and low-carbon energy unit were also part of the extensive revamp.

Speaking to Elle following the move, a source close to the pair revealed the couple “couldn’t be more excited about starting their life together with their new baby and are keen that their child will be able to enjoy their privacy away from the fish bowl.”

Since moving to their Windsor estate home, which was gifted to them by the Queen, it’s been announced the couple with receive another place of residence from the Queen, this time inside the walls of Buckingham Palace.

Because they are now living outside of inner London, it’s customary for members of the royal family to also be given a London base, while they’re staying in the capital, the Mail on Sunday reported.

With Frogmore Cottage more than a forty minutes’ drive into the city, the home away from home will be a welcome one, if Harry, Meghan or baby Archie have any royal engagements in the capital.

The Queen’s sons Prince Andrew, who also lives in Windsor, and Prince Edward, who lives in Bagshot Heath with his wife Countess Sophie and their two children, both have apartments in Buckingham Palace also.
