It’s time to dust off our hats and fetch our gloves because another royal wedding is just around the corner.
According to Express, Prince Harry is planning to give longtime girlfriend Meghan Markle a watch that belonged to his late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales -- and the beautiful gesture has royal watchers all a flutter as an engagement announcement now seems inevitable!
The 36-year-old actress is poised to receive the late royal’s 18 carat yellow gold Cartier Tank Francaise watch, a treasured piece given to the ‘People’s Princess’ by her father Edward Spencer.
Princes William and Harry requested their mother’s watch and sapphire engagement ring for safekeeping after her tragic passing. Of course, the Duchess of Cambridge received the stunning engagement ring, which the royal brothers decided would go to whoever was to bend their knee first.
The watch will be a surefire hit -- after all, the passionate humanitarian bought herself the “two-tone” version when Suits was given a third season.
“I totally splurged. I had it engraved on the back ‘To MM From MM’ and I plan to give it to my daughter one day,” she said at the time.
Meghan is said to be in the midst of planning a permanent jump across the pond to live with her prince, after having wrapped up filming on the hit legal drama alongside co-star Patrick J. Adams.
On set sources recently confirmed the news to Us Weekly.
“Patrick was always leaving the show. He made his mind up a while ago. Patrick wants to pursue other things and he's realized his time at Suits has come to an end," a source said.
Before adding, “It will make it an easy break for Meghan to leave as well.”
Meghan and the network behind Suits are yet to officially comment on the series' worst kept secret, but her body double practically hand delivered confirmation on a silver platter.
Nicky Bursic recently shared a sweet post farewelling the brunette beauty.
"It's been an absolute pleasure and honour being your 'STAND-IN' for the last two seasons @meghanmarkle. Though I've been on @suits_usa for six years, the latter two has been my most memorable. Wishing you all the happiness in the world Bella."
Now that’s a goodbye message if we’ve ever seen one!
What’s more, rumour has it the other two golden boys in Megs’ life – her dogs Guy the Beagle and Bogart the Labrador-Shepherd – have already relocated.
Speaking with The Sun, a source close to the American-native explained that she’s moving her doggos from Toronto to London.
“She is very close to those two dogs. She lets them sleep on her bed and they eat only the highest quality organic food,” the insider said.
“She bought them Union flag dog jumpers to keep them warm when they were puppies.”
“She misses them when she is away and will even get someone to FaceTime her with them.”
They added: “The fact she’s started the process of moving them to England is the clearest hint yet that she sees her future living in London with Harry.”
