Every woman knows, one dress is never enough! And if there is ever an option to have two designer wedding dresses, you say ‘yes please’.

Just as her now sister-in-law, Duchess Catherine, did before her, Meghan Markle opted for a dress-swap ahead of the second of two wedding receptions celebrating her marriage to Prince Harry.

The stunning bride dazzled in an elaborate wedding dress designed by Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy, as she walked down the aisle of St George’s chapel at Windsor Castle to greet her prince. But before the evening festivities, the new-royal slipped into something a little more appropriate and a little more va-va-voom to enjoy the private, 200-person reception.

Meghan, 36, changed into a high-necked sleeveless halter gown by Stella McCartney. She completed the look with a pair of Aquazurra shoes, featuring nude mesh and a baby blue-colored sole — her something blue! Meanwhile, her classic wedding updo was spruced-up ahead of the celebrations by George Northwood.

The bride also found a way to pay tribute to her late mother-in-law Diana, Princess of Wales, choosing to wear a breathtaking aquamarine cocktail ring from the beloved royal’s collection — something blue and something borrowed!

Meghan dipped into her late mother-in-law’s jewellery collection to find her something blue and her something borrowed.

Harry, 33, and Meghan, 36, both changed into something a little bit more party-appropriate ahead of an evening reception held at Frogmore House.

The new-royal swapped her elegant wedding dress for something a little bit more va-va-voom!

Duchess Catherine also wore a second wedding dress for her wedding to Prince William in 2011. After the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, Kate swapped her elaborate, lace gown for a romantic, ivory satin number boasting a diamante embellished waist, which she paired with a furry stole.

Kate, 36, also had a hairstyle change at her wedding, literally letting her hair down. Kate unpinned her hair from its elegant ceremony style to showcase her signature bouncy locks.

We will never forget Kate’s stunning wedding dress!

Kate’s second dress, a demure satin gown, was designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, the same designer as her first wedding dress.

Meghan’s costume change was first spotted as she and her new husband stepped into a blue Jaguar with the license plate E190518 — their wedding date. The swish ride will transport the duo from Windsor Castle to Frogmore House, where their evening reception will be held.

Prince Charles is hosting the reception, which will be attended by 200 of their closest friends and family. The intimate celebration is an opportunity for Harry and Meghan to celebrate their union privately with their closest family and friends.

No details of the evening will be released by Kensington Palace.

Always the gentleman! Harry helps his new-wife into the swanky ride.

A quick smile for the cameras…

…and they’re off!

Earlier in the day, Queen Elizabeth hosted the daytime gathering following the wedding ceremony and procession through Windsor. The first reception was held inside Windsor Castle, at St George’s Hall, and all 600 guests who were invited to the ceremony at St. George’s Chapel were present.

Prince Charles reportedly shared some heartfelt words with the newlyweds at the lunchtime event.

“Charles gave a brilliant speech,” one of the guests who attended the reception told People Magazine of the father of the groom, adding, “Harry was very emotional.”

Describing the royal’s speech, the guest said “it was very sweet actually, very heartfelt” and that he even commented on “how proud” he was of the man his son had “grown into.”

“He ended it calling him, ‘My darling old Harry, I’m so happy for you,’ which was very sweet,” the guest continued, adding that the 69-year-old also expressed “how he’s really happy for them both.”

Congratulations again to the newlyweds!
