The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have revealed the name of their adorable baby girl: Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana!
The baby will be known as Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge, according to the palace's official statement.
Princess Charlotte was born at 8.34 AM UK time on May 2 at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London. She will be fourth in line to the throne after big brother Prince George, who turns two in July.
The name has special meaning for Kate and Wills. 'Charlotte' is the feminine form of Charles, the name of Prince William's father and two other kings in history, according to the BBC.
Charlotte is also the middle name of Kate's sister Pippa and the first name of Earl Spencer's youngest daughter.
Meanwhile, Elizabeth and Diana are both more obvious tributes to Prince William's grandmother and late mother.
