Inside Prince William's first official trip to Paris since Diana's death

It was the royal's first working trip to the City of Lights in 20 years.

It's been almost 20 years but Prince William has made his first official visit to the City of Lights since the tragic death of his mother, Princess Diana, died in a car crash in Paris.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in Paris over the weekend for a whirlwind two-days in the French capital.

In a moving moment, the royals met with victims and fire responders from two Parisian terrorist attacks — the November 2015 attacks in Paris that left 130 people dead and the 2016 attack in Nice on Bastille Day, which left 86 people dead.

In 48 hours, the couple managed to fit in some of the city's best sites including the Musée d’Orsay art gallery and famed military museum Les Invalides.

While the pair delighted locals, it was Kate who dazzled throughout the trip.

The mum-of-two wowed in all her looks, especially her perfectly timed Chanel tweed suit which was worn in front of the Eiffel tower.
