How Kate’s spending her birthday

Kate Middleton intends to have some quiet time with her family for her birthday this year.

Happy Birthday to the Duchess of Cambridge, who turns 31 today! While the news Kate and her husband Prince William are expecting a baby was the greatest gift she’s ever received, the duchess is reportedly looking forward to a low-key day with her nearest and dearest.

Still recovering from the crippling condition hyperemesis gravidarum which has plagued her pregnancy so far, Kate is said to still be at her parents’ home in Berkshire. However, the duchess will be joined by her RAF pilot husband for a private dinner.

While celebrations will understandably be quieter this year, William is reportedly still keen to surprise his wife on her birthday, with some papers reporting the prince is wanting to gift Kate a private country home so they can “get away from it all” when they want to.

“Wills has narrowed down the list to a few incredible places in Hampshire and Buckinghamshire around the five million pound mark,” says a source

As far as Kate’s concerned however, she’s said to be keen to spend her last birthday before her child is born with her family and friends, well away from the glare of the media.
