Kate Middleton has graced thousands of magazine covers, but the latest gives a glimpse of the royal as we’ve never seen her before.
The National Portrait Gallery in London has teamed up with Vogue magazine to present a new series of images of the Duchess of Cambridge. Kate will also appear on the magazine’s June cover.
Some of the photos, which were shot by British photographer Josh Olins, were released on social media by Kensington Palace.
“HRH was delighted to celebrate 100 years of @BritishVogue – a leading champion of British portraiture since 1916,” one tweet said.
“The Duchess is incredibly grateful to the team at @BritishVogue and @NPGLondon for asking her to take part.”
The images show a relaxed Kate in the Norfolk countryside.
The full set of eight photos will appear in the June 2016 issue of British Vogue, while two of the portraits have been installed int he National Portrait Gallery, with the Duchess expected to visit the exhibition on May 4.
Kate and husband William celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary on April 29, and are gearing up to mark daughter Charlotte’s first birthday on May 2.
