Former Dr Who actress Jenna Coleman has fiercely denied she and Prince Harry are anything more than pals, after news presenter Kate Garraway quizzed her on air.
Jenna and Harry sparked romance rumours back in June 2015, when they were spotted allegedly looking ‘flirty’ after a charity polo match.
And Good Morning Britain host Kate wasn’t going to let Jenna get away without mentioning the rumours, asking the actress why she was hanging out with the 31-year-old prince.
“He’s a friend of mine,” replied the star, who will play Queen Victoria in an upcoming series for ITV.
Twitter users later commented on the actress’s professionalism in the face of the presenter’s probes, with one writing “I don’t know how she does it.”
Jenna had to learn to ride side saddle in a corset for the new Victoria series, as well as play Beethoven on the piano – something she admitted she “wasn’t very good at.”
The actress also read the 62 million words in the monarch’s journals that she took over the course of her life, and revealed the queen certainly had a dark side.
“We haven’t shied away from the steamy side of things,” said the star.
“The chemistry and passion and her love for her husband Albert was strong and turbulent at times.”
