The tale as old as time has been given a breath-taking reboot.
Disney has released the first official full-length trailer for the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson as the beautiful Belle.
The teaser showcases the film’s stunning set and elaborate costumes, as well as a better look at some of the film’s most memorable moments, including the iconic ballroom scene.
A star studded cast plays the films most beloved characters, Mrs. Potts (Emma Thompson), Lumiere (Ewan McGregor), Cogsworth (Ian McKellen).
Director Bill Condon says fans can expect to hear even more classics from the 1991 animated film — along with a few new, original songs.
“Every song from the animated film is there, and we added three songs,” he tells People.
“The new songs had to do with the ways we were expanding and filling out the backstories of Belle and the Beast.
“She’s such a hard worker,” he says, of leading actress Emma Watson.
“What I love about her voice is that it’s a complete extension of the voice we all know. It’s very clear, very pure. I think it’s going to delight people.”
Beauty and the Beast is set for release in cinemas on March 17th, 2017.
