Emma Watson dons Belle’s famous yellow ball gown and Dan Stevens is revealed as the Beast in all new photos released from the set of the upcoming Beauty and the Beast movie, which is due to hit cinemas in March 2017.
Entertainment Weekly has shared the first look at the live action retelling with a series of photos featuring Luke Evans as Gaston, Dan Stevens as the Beast and many more.
The movie, which also stars Emma Thompson, Ian McKellen, Ewan McGregor and Josh Gad, is being directed by Bill Condon.
“I can’t even think how many times I watched it as a child,” Emma told the publication of her early love for the Disney animated classic.
“I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.”
The film follows last year’s Cinderella, which starred Lily James in the title role and Cate Blanchett as the evil stepmother.
Disney has also announced plans for several more live action versions of its beloved animated movies, including Aladdin, Mulan, Snow White, The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
