From Disney’s latest animated adventure to a dreamy new movie musical, December promises to be chock-full with films for everyone to enjoy.
If you’re looking for top-notch drama, check out Amma Asante’s A United Kingdom, which stars David Oyelowo (Selma) and Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl) as a mixed race couple whose marriage causes an international stir. Based on a true story, the movie is already gaining rave reviews for its stellar cast and heavy-hitting story.
Meanwhile, Disney’s Moana will be just the ticket for the whole family to enjoy. Featuring the voices of Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, New Zealand’s own Temuera Morrison, Jemaine Clement and Rachel House and newcomer Auli’i Cravalho, the flick follows the tale of the young and courageous Moana as she sets sail for a fabled island with the demi-God Maui.
