Controversial Married at First Sight Australia bride Jessika Power has announced her relationship with MAFS season four groom Nick Furphy has ended after just two months of dating.
It comes amid reports the pair got into an argument after a week-long holiday in Bali and had to take separate flights home.
Taking to Instagram to set the record straight, Jess said “I know there is a lot of speculation going around right now in regards to my relationship status with Nick.
“Regretfully after thinking of what’s best for myself and Nick I decided to ended our relationship. I love you all and I appreciate the concern but this is fresh and private.”
“I’m not ready just yet to discuss or go into detail but thank you all for the kind messages of support,” the 27-year-old concluded.
A source told the Daily Mail last week that they had witnessed Jess “screaming and swearing'” at Nick at Bali’s Ngurah Rai International airport. Jess was apparently “so emotional and then they left on different flights back to Australia.”
When approached for comment, Jess confirmed she and Nick had a “little argument” but wouldn’t elaborate further, other than to say that tensions had boiled over after their flight had been delayed all day.
Following the incident, Nick posted to his Instagram story to try and diffuse the situation and to assure his followers they were still going strong.
“To the people who think I’ve cheated on Jess this is wrong,” the 32-year-old wrote. “I’ve never cheated on anyone or never will.
“I’m still in a loving relationship with her,” he added. “Relationships take work and are not always perfect all the time.”
Jess, however, has other ideas and since announcing their break-up on her own story, has removed all pictures of the pair from her Instagram feed.

It’s been a messy relationship for Jess from the get-go, considering Nick’s best friend is fellow MAFS groom Telv Williams – someone Jess was involved with while she was still seeing Daniel Webb.
“A lot of people are weighing in on this, especially Nick’s best friend, Telv [Williams],” she revealed to the Daily Mail when they went public with their relationship.
“However we are not allowing people’s opinions to hurt this,” Jessika continued. “We are just seeing how it goes. He’s in Melbourne and I’m on the Gold Coast but we Facetime every day on the phone.”
Nick, too, weighed in on the debate, saying “People won’t be happy with this relationship but it has nothing to do with them. Jess has grown so much after the show. Don’t always believe what you watch on TV.”
