Stevie Nicks is bringing her 24 Karat Gold tour to New Zealand in November alongside the Pretenders, fronted by fellow music icon Chrissie Hynde.

Fans will be treated to full, individual sets by Stevie Nicks and Pretenders including all of their classic hits at the exclusive shows, which will be held at Auckland’s Spark Arena and the Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.

The tour follows Fleetwood Mac’s extremely successful run of 122 sold-out shows around the globe during 2014-2015, as well as Stevie’s solo tour of the US with Pretenders which garnered rave reviews from critics.

Stevie – dubbed the “reining queen of rock and roll” by Rolling Stone, released her most recent album 24 Karat Gold: Songs From The Vault in 2014 and saw it debut at No. 7 on Billboard’s Top 200 charts.

“It’s been thrilling to get on stage each night and sing some of my early gems from early in my career along with getting the chance to sing the material from my last two albums, In Your Dreams and 24 Karat Gold,” Stevie says of the tour.

Tickets go on sale from 1PM on Friday, August 18 from Live Nation..

Stevie Nicks and the Pretenders will be playing at Spark Arena in Auckland on Tuesday, November 21, and Dunedin’s Forsyth Barr Stadium on Friday, November 24.
