Congratulations are in order for Zooey Deschanel and her handsome hubby, who are expecting their second child, Us Weekly confirms.
The New Girl star’s impending arrival will join the couple’s first daughter, Elsie Otter, whom they welcomed in July, 2015.
The brunette beauty has since returned to filming her hit show, but not without difficulty!
“When you’re holding your baby, you’re like, ‘I don’t wanna go to work—this is like the best thing ever,'” the 37-year-old recently told E! News.
“But it’s nice, you know, I think, having a little girl, she knows her mommy works and I think that’s a good thing.”
Zooey and her hubby revealed both their daughter’s birth AND their marriage in the same announcement back in June 2015.
“I am thrilled to confirm that Zooey Deschanel and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, are new parents to a beautiful healthy baby girl,” the actress’ rep told Us Weekly in a statement at the time, confirming that a month out from giving birth, the couple tied the knot in secret surrounded by loved ones in Austin, Texas.
