Plenty of revellers turned out to celebrate the official start of the ski season at the Queenstown Winter Festival this weekend, with everything from fireworks to a family-friendly Winter Wonderland ice rink on offer.
The festival, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2014, attracts thousands of visitors each year with a variety of parties, activities, concerts and more.
