Te Vaka and Vince Harder were the big winners at the 12th annual Vodafone Pacific Music Awards last night, which was held at the Vodafone Events Centre in Auckland.
Vince Harder won Best Pacific Male Artist, Best Producer, and Best Pacific Urban Artist, while Te Vaka took out Best Pacific Music Album and Best Pacific Song.
Other winners on the night included Sol3 Mio for Best Pacific Group, Mikey Mayz for Most Promising Pacific Artist and Savage, who won the NZ On Air Radio Airplay Award.
“Pacific music continues to lead the way in our industry and that’s thanks to the remarkable efforts of all the artists who create, compose and perform,” said Vodafone Pacific Music Awards Trust chairperson Rev. Mua Strickson-Pua.
“Congratulations to all of those who took home an award this year, and also to all who were nominated. We are so proud of our Pacific artists and their immense talents.”
