After George Clooney, Julia Roberts and Gwen Stefani, the latest round of celebrity BFFs appearing in ‘Carpool Karaoke’ includes none other than Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas!
The two sang a selection of both of their hits throughout the car ride, including Nick’s ‘Jealous’ and Demi’s ‘Heart Attack’. They also covered a little bit of ‘Cake By The Ocean’ from Nick’s brother Joe Jonas’ band DNCE.
That wasn’t all the trio did during their hilarious ‘Carpool Karaoke’ clip, however. At one point, Demi, James and Nick got out of the car and onto the street for an impromptu live performance of Demi’s song ‘Confident’, from her album of the same name.
In between songs, James also grilled Nick about his tumultuous love life (the star was previously linked to both Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez) and his infamous purity ring, which he wore for a period of time during his Jonas Brothers band days. James also asked Demi (who previously dated Joe Jonas) and Nick whether they had ever considered dating each other.
“You two never – not even like a 3 am, pause when you look in each other’s eyes and go, ‘we’re not going to do this, are we?’ Not even that moment, never?” James asked.
“I don’t know if you noticed but I kind of go for older guys, no offense,” Demi quipped.
