Toni Street gives Mike Hosking a goat for Christmas

But it's all in the name of charity.

Kiwis have a chance to give Christmas cards designed by some of their favourite celebrities this festive season.

Seven Sharp presenter Toni Street, The Bachelor winner and lifestyle guru Matilda Rice and Olympian Eliza McCartney have all designed Christmas cards for World Vision this year.

The cards will be available with every gift bought from the World Vision’s Smiles gift catalogue.

Street won Woman’s Day Television Personality of the Year at the New Zealand Television Awards last month.

As well as lending her design skills for the card she also supported the charity by giving her fellow Seven Sharp co-host Mike Hosking a goat from the catalogue for Christmas.

Toni shares her answers to some of our Christmas questions here.

What do you love about Christmas?

There are so many things I love about Christmas – decorating the tree, hanging out with family, opening presents with my girls. But for me Christmas is also about spreading some extra love and what I can to help people who need it most. Giving a Smiles gift is the perfect way to do this.

What’s your favourite Christmas memory?

Waiting eagerly for Dad to arrive from the milking shed so us kids could open our presents.

What does a Kiwi Christmas mean to you?

Having the family all together, eating a traditional roast meal, and having a much needed rest so we can all spend quality time together.

What was the worst Christmas present you’ve ever received?

A label maker.. Mum thought it was amazing…

What was the best?

A fire pit from Mum and Dad

What’s the best gift you’ve given?

Mike Hosking’s goat of course.

Last year Kiwis bought over 25,000 gifts from the Smiles catalogue. If you want to support the charity you can buy a gift here for as little as $8:
