The terrifying moment Sandra Bullock confronted her intruder

The chilling details of when Sandra Bullock came face to face with her stalker after he broke into her home have been revealed.

At 1am on June 8, Sandra heard a loud banging noise coming from within the house and went to her bedroom door to close and lock it. That was the moment that she saw a man wearing dark clothing standing right in front of her in her very own hallway.

Sandra told police that she had showered before going to bed and that he could have been standing there the whole time without her realising. She immediately slammed the door shut and called 911.

The break-in originally occurred on June 8th , but these new chilling details have emerged from a copy of the search warrant obtained by TMZ that allowed police to search suspect Joshua Corbett’s home for an arsenal of weapons.

When police arrived on the scene, Corbett began screaming, “Sandy, I’m sorry.  Please don’t press charges!”

Corbett was carrying a notebook filled with pictures of Sandra and multiple notes to her, including one that read, “I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.”

It seems the suspect was delusional and under the impression that Sandra was his wife.

Spokesperson from the District Attorney’s office Greg Risling had previously confirmed to Us Weekly that the break-in occurred while Sandra was inside her home. Her son Louis was with his nanny at the time, although it is not clear whether he was also on the premises during the incident.

Corbett has been charged with burglary and stalking, along with 19 felony counts for possessing an arsenal of weapons, “including a half dozen machine guns,” as advised by the District Attorney in June. If Corbett is convicted, he will face more than 12 years behind bars.

It is believed the incident has spooked Sandra and, understandably, resulted in her hiring round-the-clock security to protect her family.
